Hey gang … I’m slammed .. this weekend had some events I have had to attend and/or work at and I just find my time completely strangling me … so with that … I caught FaceMan, Petals of Spain, and Carbon Choir last night at the Marquis in Denver, as part of the Westword Nominating Committee VIP Party. Gotta say, as much as I love their records, I TOTALLY loved the live sets. Live, these bands are everything their records represent of their talents and skills. Well done all the way around. Tonight I’m off to the FOCOMA Peer Awards in Fort Collins – AFTER I do sound this afternoon for a guitar recital at Oskar Blues in Longmont. AND I’m in the middle of tabulating spins for the upcoming May 1 News Notes & Spins column …. AND applying for a job … yes, at a radio station … but I’ve got to keep that one a secret for now if you all don’t mind. 😉
All that said — here’s this week’s playlist and a video I hope you’ll enjoy from John Statz … with some great Colorado footage 🙂
