What a week. I did two events yesterday – I emceed the CHUN PEOPLE’S FAIR/UMX in Denver from 9-5 and then up to Lyons to do sound for Meniskus. They played a benefit for the St Vrain trail system that got destroyed in the flood. I got home about 1AM this morning … LOL. I don’t remember the rest of the week. Truth be told, I’m perfectly exhausted, and the furnace in my house went out yesterday, so I came home to an ice-box … three layers of sweats and extra blankets was enough to keep me warm. That’s it – I’m taking a day off to sleep today.
The biggest surprise of the week for me musically is the duet with Sara Evans and Isaac Slade (the Fray). I wasn’t looking for it actually. I was trying to determine “compliments to” for a female fronted band who are clients of mine, and I thought maybe Sara might be a good compliment. Turns out she has a new album, with a new duet from our Denver hitmaker. NICE 🙂 Check it out below.
