Monday January 02, 2023 – What a fun year we just had. Claire and I traveled A LOT! We visited Arizona, California (twice .. Joshua Tree Nat’l Park and Redwood Nat’l Park), Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, and Utah.

Of course, along the way we also visited several wonderful locations for Milky Way pictures (and fly fishing) in Colorado, evidenced by the pictures I’ve shared all year.

Colorado artists (any and all with direct ties) produced an abundance of world class music in 2022. Five artists/bands with direct ties to Colorado earned Grammy Award nominations: Gerald Albright, The Infamous Stringdusters, Ingrid Andress, Judy Collins, and Yonder Mountain String Band.

Yonder Mountain String Band, the String Cheese Incident, Leftover Salmon, Hot Rize and the Fox Theater were inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. And just as the year was about to end, the Class of ’23 was announced.

And finally, thank you for being one of the record number of visitors to the site over the past nine years.
