First week of December … just a couple of new cuts this week … Lion Drome and Briffault got me new tracks in time for this week’s show … and I got a cut deeper into new Wovenhand and Tyler Ward releases.  The video feed this week is 9 songs, about 40 mins (give or take), and features a sample of the new Lion Drome, along with Tennis, Tin Horn Prayer, Sixteen Horsepower, Wovenhand, Slim Cessna’s Auto Club Live at OpenAir 1340, The Astronauts, Bad Weather California, and Tyler Ward.  Enjoy 🙂

The Colorado Sound – V4 EP44 November 2012

Always love this time of year.  If you have been keeping track, anything new that comes out now is a 2013 release.  Here in a few weeks I’ll be compiling picks for the BEST OF 2012 chart and year end program.  If you’re involved in the scene locally, and you think you know what’s up with Colorado music, hit me up for a full list of all 2012 releases I’ve been tracking.  New music in this week from Honkytonk Homeslice, the SCI band featuring Bill Nershi and his wife along with  Scott Law and some friends.  Also picked up the new Devotchka record Live with the Colorado Symphony that’s pretty bad ass.  The Hollyfelds got their new disc to me this week – and it will no doubt launch them into their 5th Westword Music Award – and thereby push them into the Westword Music Hall of Fame since it would be their fifth win.  ENJOY the videos … picked 12 from the show this week … about 50 mins.
