Monday morning … NEW MUSIC POLL  this week featuring American Culture, Strawberry Runners, The Blue Rider, Esme Patterson, and the Patient Zeroes.  I have to say it all sounds rather oddly like the sixties to my ears.  It will be interesting to see what your favorites are from this class of retro-pop and rock …

Sorry to say that Radio 94.9 in Northern Colorado has decided to drop the show.  I seriously want to thank long time NoCO radio guru Stu Haskell for inviting me to be a part of things there the past few years.  With me now being on staff at 105.5 The Colorado Sound, and the Colorado Playlist airing on Sunday mornings at 10AM, it did not make sense for 94.9 to continue airing the show.

The Colorado Playlist S10 EP06

It was a great week for new releases from MILES WIDE, HELLO DOLLFACE, WONDERLIC, SHEL, ADRIENNEO, SAM LEE, and ELEPHANT REVIVAL …. there’s a great version of Enter Sandman, the Metallica classic, on the new SHEL album that I’ll share in next week’s show.

Sometimes I get lost.  If you’ve followed me, you know I’m still in the deepest grief stages of losing my wife to cancer on Feb 2.  Friends and professionals both have told me to be easy on myself … to not worry about getting lost right now.  For that, I’m grateful.  Here’s this week’s playlist and new music shares.

Don’t forget … KUNC is no longer airing the show — it has been moved to 105.5 The Colorado Sound.  It airs at 10AM Sunday morning (hour 2 of show) and it airs at 10PM Sunday nights (both hours of show).
