therealpickygrumpyoldgoati have no idea what I’m doing … bandcamp will not embed today, so the only new music shares come via soundcloud.  I’m busy working to get the July 1 News Notes & Spins column done and up by tomorrow … so this one is brief at best … great fun the past few days with 3 Twins in Fort Collins, Halden Wofford & the Hi*Beams at the Skylark in Denver, the Yawpers at Oskar Blues in Lyons .. man I love what I do 🙂

Halden Wofford & the Hi*Beams have a new album out .. it’s called Rocky Mountain Honky Tonk.  I’ll be debuting it on the show next week. Also new and just in – Dave Preston/Come Alive, the Gristle Gals/Sweet Pea, and a special Colorado Connection – Bob Lind/Finding You Again – the first solo album from this former Coloradoan and hit maker in over 40 years.

chrisk w new hatSo my summer schedule hit me in the face last week and I was totally unprepared for it …  I moved my mother out of my house and into senior housing … the next day I spent painting her room and bathroom .. the following day I had festival mtgs and I picked my wife up at the airport .. then it was three days of emceeing/stage managing shows… LOL.  So, happy to say I got it right this week and was able to produce a new show, the 21st episode for 2013.  That said – I got a ton of new music in during the week – and wasn’t able to air it all in one show, so some more new stuff coming at ya next week .. nice to see so many of the new cuts were found on soundcloud (I also like bandcamp for sharing).
