#COMUSIC – TOP 30 FEB 2022

Early morning March 01, 2022 near Kenosha Pass

MARCH 01, 2022 – As you can see, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and the Lumineers have held onto their respective spots atop the February spins chart. Eleven titles stayed in the February TOP 30 from January: Sixteen titles were (D) debuts for the month; eight of which were songs featured for the month at Indie 102.3.

Spin data pulled from the Colorado Playlist, 105.5 The Colorado Sound, Indie 102.3 and eleven stations that use playlist generator Spinitron, designed to benefit non-commercial community/public and college radio stations and offering advanced search functions for artists and agents.

Besides the spins chart published here, check out the weekly Roots Music Report TOP 50 Colorado Chart. Where I track titles going back a year, RMR charts often reflect titles that are more than a couple of years old. RMR also receives spin counts from a different set of reporters in Colorado, as well as from both terrestrial and Internet based radio around the country and Europe.

Titles are linked to their respective YouTube pages, if available.

Monday FEB 28, 2022 – that picture tells a tale. We scouted out the area last week for a trip today/tomorrow for Milky Way shots. Can you say f’n COLD?! Hopefully, Claire and I will have a couple of new pictures to share with you next week.

oh .. music. Got swamped again this past week with new releases. Nothing that’s going to challenge The Lumineers (#1) or Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats (#2) position at the top of the charts, but some fun stuff. Big surprise; the debut single, Blue Skies, from Sweet Virginia cracked the TOP 5 this week along with the new album, Toward the Fray, from the Infamous Stringdusters.

Monday FEB 21, 2022 – PatchyDenseFog, Julia Kirkwood and Erik Lunde jump into the TOP 5 this week. And yes, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and the Lumineers are still anchored in the top two spots. I don’t see that changing in the next several weeks – but I’ve been wrong before.

The Colorado Playlist needs your help. Below you’ll find a donation form. Please donate. The cost to produce and distribute the show is not covered by the stations, or the few businesses I mention weekly. I need help with this. Please.
