Gotta love Monday mornings after a full weekend of brain daze and music … oh, wait … I’m thinking of next Monday, when I don’t know if I’ll still be okay to sit and type a few lines, after three days of Bohemian Nights at New West Fest, and one night of Yarmonygrass (in/near Bond and State Bridge and Rancho Del Rio).
Yarmonygrass is a non-profit, volunteer-powered event that benefits the Coral Creek Kids Music Project to bring music performance and education to underserved kids in Colorado. GOATZ! is excited and honored to be the opening act on Thursday Aug 9.
BIG THANKS to everyone involved with the 11th Annual Carbon Valley Music & Spirits Festival that took place Saturday. Despite about a half hour wind storm that was borderline “shut down” level we made it to the end without incident – and with a FABULOUS (pun intended) show from the FABULOUS THUNDERBIRDS, The Burroughs, Taylor Scott Band, Bonnie & the Clydes, Andy Sydow, and Veggie Matters. Also big thanks to the City of Dacono.
I received an email last week that the Colorado Playlist will no longer be aired on 88.9FM KRFC Fort Collins. Basically, management has decided to no longer air syndicated programming.
At Bohemian Foundation, our focus is on building community …by coming together to create and enjoy music.
