July 11, 2022 – As I stated last week, taking NOTHING away from Alysia Kraft’s brilliant solo debut, First Light – that album’s debut at #2 in the JUNE TOP 30 and landing at #1 in last week’s TOP 5, happened largely because it was featured heavily on Indie 102.3 in June. I expected to see it fall …

First Light fell from #1 last week to a tie for #13 with three other titles. Interestingly, a flurry of spins at a handful of mountain town stations this past week propelled David Star‘s September 2021 release, Touchstones, to the #1 spot for the week.

July 4, 2022 – Happy JULY 4th! We rolled in yesterday, just in time for me to compile this past week’s TOP 5 Colorado music spins. I’ll post up the June TOP 30 tomorrow.

Well, here I thought the Lumineers would drop off the TOP 5 for the week – but noooooo … they reappeared. Wouldn’t be surprised if they hang around another month or two. June 27, 2022 – On the road again! It’s summertime in Colorado, which means visiting as many places as we can to do some sightseeing, fishing, photography and seeing friends. This week we’ll be in Alamosa listening to KRZA. Hopefully we’ll have some pictures to share with you next week.
