SOME OF THE BEST OF 2017 – SO FAR
We’re officially six months into 2017. I’ve added over 500 song titles to my potential airplay collection so far this year, or the equivalent of about 50 albums. I’ve taken in more than that, but given the time constraints of a 2 hour radio show, where I can at best program 13 songs an hour, not everything I’ve taken in makes the cut for airplay consideration.

A couple of DEBUT cuts made it into the show this week – one from Retrofette, who won the 2017 Westword Music Showcase Award for Best Pop band … and one from Instant Empire, that I’ve anxiously been waiting for, for some time now.
