Pretty much every week I share a picture from somewhere in our state, taken by my partner Claire. This week’s picture is a recent view from Basalt, CO.

Colorado’s night skies are among some of the best in the country.

We learned this week that Breckenridge has now been declared an official dark sky community. Paonia became an official dark sky community a year ago, September.

I hope you enjoy the photos and it encourages you to go visit our dark sky parks and communities in Colorado. And, I hope you listen to music from Colorado when you do 🙂 ~ Chris K.
