We got in from a wonderful FoCOMX Sunday afternoon. Thanks to the Fort Collins Musician’s Association and 105.5 The Colorado Sound for inviting me to participate in this year’s event, both as an emcee and performer. Despite very cold and snowy weather Friday night, venues were full and the music was ecstatically delicious.

The sun came out on Saturday, and so did the crowds. I emceed at Odell Brewing Company, the Platinum sponsor of the festival, and at The OBC Wine Project. I also performed at The OBC Wine Project with the wonderful Alex Nikiforoff on lead guitar. Afterwards, we attended several shows, until the old bones just say no mas!

We live in a state in love with the music that comes from here. Thanks for being a part of it!

Here’s this week’s Monday Morning Music Meeting, courtesy of Starr’s Guitars in Cedaredge.

Every year I debut approximately two hundred new current-year songs.

Every week I have to make decisions about what to keep to play again and what to archive.

Let me know what you think of the debuts (D) I shared in the show this week.

Results enter into determining which cuts stay in the library and which cuts might eventually make it to the annual Colorado Playlist Fan & Listener Poll and the “some of the best of the year” show.
